Vice President of Human Resources
The Vice President of HR will report directly to the CFO and is responsible for determining and providing leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leadership and development of the HR department for NA (6 facilities, $1.5B sales, union environment, high volume manufacturing\Distribution\Retail)
- Develops and executes human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company
- Partners with HR Leaders that support all business units.
- Develop and lead a team of senior HR leaders that effectively execute the following processes: strategic workforce planning and talent management, employee relation, wage and salary administration, organizational and performance management, training and development, nurturing and shaping the company culture, and employee services
- Acts as advisor to executive committee\Reports to CEO
- You will work closely with executive leadership to make culture a strong component of the company’s overall business strategy
- Acts as liaison between global HR team and regional legal team
- Strategic partner to the business and leads people discussions
- Creates and implements a variety of Human Resources strategies and policies
- Provides appropriate communications and promotes employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives
- Ensures legal compliance with various governmental laws and regulations covering areas such as OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, wage and hour, etc

Minimum Requirements:
- A confident, decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementational and detail-oriented perspective
- A well-organized and self-directed individual and team player
- An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with the management team and employees in a team-oriented environment
- Adept at handling sensitive employee relations matters
- You have 10+ years relevant work experience at a Senior HR level in retail environment
- You have solid knowledge of the domestic labor law and labor agreement
- You hold a degree in relevant area to HR management
