Vice President of Quality

We are a midsized manufacturing company with approximately $330M in sales and 400 employees running 2 shifts.  We are looking for a Vice President of Quality.  The Quality Vice President will be responsible for deploying our ambitious quality policies in partnership with other company leaders who jointly work towards innovation, continuous improvement, and risk management.

The VP of Quality will impact Company in the following ways:

Customers and Programs:

• Define/enhance customer relations on Quality matters including setting up network and governance with key customers and creating the QAP for the company
• Monitor customer quality performance by defining KPI’s and ensuring deployment in all Divisions and sites and setting up monthly/ quarterly reviews
• Set up the network of PQE for key programs and define DVI and PPAP standard within the company, deployment plan and support/ control implementation

QMS Systems Optimization:

• Define and improve company QMS and support deployment and implementation
• Plan and ensure the completion of internal and external audits
• Ensure the regulatory monitoring and the application in our repository
• Define and support deployment of Company group procedures (GRPs)
• Define and set up governance for QRQC standard process for the company and a common process for management
• Define the KPI for production quality management by setting standard quality routines
• Define standard production process qualification and self-inspection standards
• Progressively empower the operational teams to transfer all inspection activities to them and focus quality teams towards quality insurance and customer relationships

Suppliers:

• Participate in supplier assessment, selection and perform supplier quality processes assessment
• Define SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) and SQP (Supplier Quality Product) standard to support deployment and limit the volume of incoming inspection
• Define, support, and govern KPI’s for Suppliers performance
• Define quality inspection standards for receiving and quality inspection tools
