Vice President of Supply Chain
We are looking for a strong proven leader in the role of VP, Global Supply Chain & Purchasing to be a key member of the Executive Team and report directly to the CEO. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the global supply chain & procurement strategy while demonstrating critical business judgement for complex decision-making. The right person for the role will be able to understand our dynamic customer base, collaborate with our diverse employees, and embody the culture and values that have allowed us to be successful over the past 5 decades.
Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or other related field of study, a MBA preferred and 10 to 15 years of experience in Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Management with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Key Duties/Responsibilities (not all-inclusive): • Oversee all areas of Supply Chain • Ensure that quality and efficiency standards are measured and reviewed • Develop supply chain strategy • Commodity analysis, tracking, and positions strategy and execution • Lead all procurement, logistics, distribution, and supply chain information system processes • Prioritize and adjust strategic plans and initiatives • Translate business vision and strategy into operational tactics • Establish both short and long term goals in the areas of quality, cost, and service • Provide senior-level interface to cross-functional teams • Develop and execute annual budgets and plans Competencies:
